Owen McDonough & Associates Limited started life as Hawkins & Company, founded by Leo Hawkins in 1969. Leo was based in Prospect Hill in Galway and was joined in 1972 by Clem Desmond. Owen McDonough joined the practice in 1976 and his brother, Conor, followed him into the practice in 1978. The firm was named McDonough, Hawkins & Co. from then until 2011 when it could be incorporated.
